Identification of barriers hindering the adoption of technologies that support climate change mitigation and adaptation, aiming to facilitate more effective implementation.

I am Dr. Krishna Malakar, an ecological economist dedicated to impactful research on the human dimensions of the environment and climate change. I earned my Ph.D. from the Interdisciplinary Programme in Climate Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. My research employs mixed methods, including desk research, content analysis, focus group discussions, household surveys, and statistical analyses, to measure and understand policy gaps. My work has been published in various peer-reviewed international scientific journals and has garnered significant media coverage.
